Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Stacklink uses cookies and similar technologies on stacklink.nl. It supplements our Privacy Policy. We operate under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) and the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet (Art. 11.7a): we ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookie or tracker, and nothing non-essential runs until you agree.
1. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: Required for the site to work — security, sign-in sessions, and remembering your cookie choice. These run without consent because the site cannot function without them.
- Analytics: Aggregate, EU-processed usage and performance measurement (Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights). Loaded only after you accept the Analytics category.
- Functional: Embedded third-party widgets such as the Cal.com scheduler. Loaded only after you opt in — on the booking page this is the “Load scheduler” button.
2. Cookies and technologies we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Lifetime | Provider | Region |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sl_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. | 6 months | Stacklink (first-party) | EU |
| Supabase / session cookies | Strictly necessary | Authentication and session state once you sign in to the product at app.stacklink.nl. Not set by the marketing site itself. | Session — up to ~1 week (refresh token) | Supabase (on Stacklink’s behalf) | EU (Supabase EU region) |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Analytics | Privacy-friendly, aggregate page-view and traffic measurement. No cross-site tracking and no advertising profiles. | Up to 24 hours (visitor hash) | Vercel Inc. | EU processing (Vercel EU) |
| Vercel Speed Insights | Analytics | Real-user performance metrics (page load, Core Web Vitals) to keep the site fast. | Per-request — no persistent identifier | Vercel Inc. | EU processing (Vercel EU) |
| Cal.com embed (cal.eu) | Functional | Powers the embedded scheduler on /book. Loads only after you click “Load scheduler”. Sets cookies needed to render and submit the booking widget. | Set by Cal.com — session + persistent | Cal.com, Inc. (cal.eu instance) | EU (cal.eu) |
3. Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Re-opening the cookie settings lets you toggle the Analytics and Functional categories on or off; strictly-necessary cookies cannot be turned off because the site depends on them.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect parts of the site that rely on functional cookies (for example, the embedded scheduler on /book).
4. Third-party providers
Some technologies are provided by third parties who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers. Their own policies govern how they handle data: Vercel (analytics & performance), Cal.com (scheduling), and Supabase (authentication). We select EU-resident processing wherever the provider offers it.
